supercess | Advance Sho-chan birthday celeb!

After class today, I met up with some friends and we went to eat ramen over at Ramen Nagi to celebrate Sho-kun's birthday! ^_^ AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU, THAT SHOP DOES NOT EFF AROUND.

The Red King (Akaou) fit for THE RED KING ;)

THEY REALLY DO NOT JOKE AROUND WITH THIS. So, the plan was we were going to try Akaou because it's Sho's birthday and it's only fitting that we try the spicy one. Also because we've been itching to go there since we watched that AniShi where they ate this. When we got there, my friends wimped out and opted to go with the normal ramen. Haha! BUT, I'm not a wimp and my ichiban is MatsuJun so I channeled my inner J (lol) and went with it.

What I discovered was, in Ramen Nagi, the default level of spice in Akaou was level 5. This made me think about Ohno's level 7 during AniShi. If the default spicyness is level 5, Ohno's spice level during AniShi was actually level 12. Bastard. HOW CAN HE TAKE THAT?! I WAS ALREADY DYING ON LEVEL 5. Haha!

So there we go. I already started coughing a little on my first bite and it just got worse after haha! My friends were laughing because I think I finished half of our pitcher of water. Haha! It's good ramen though, the noodles were great and the green onions and pork belly and everything. Everything tasted great. ^_^ But it really is spicy that I didn't even get to finish the soup (and I drank a lot of cold water so I felt really full). Fun day though, we fangirled over ramen. :D

I'll buy a small cake for Sho tomorrow. haha~ ♥

It does look very intimidating but it's so good~ you'd forget how spicy it is after eating it and just remember the goodness of the ramen. Haha!

Anyway, where's Ramen Nagi at? I'd like to try one too! (googles!)

There's a bunch of 'em actually. The ones I know of are at SM North, MoA and SM Aura. You gotta be there at the right time though 'cause sometimes there's a queue. :) SM North's got a bit of a crowd usually.

And you definitely have to challenge the Red King when you eat there. Haha! :D

I think it was at the block. It's also in a weird spot, I think it's in the same area as the clothing shops at the ground floor. Haha.
